Rock Steady Boxing at LifeWorks

Rock Steady Boxing is a national program for parkinson's patients.  As a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, it gives people with Parkinson’s disease hope by improving their quality of life through a non-contact boxing based fitness curriculum.  Exercises are largely adapted from boxing drills. Boxers condition for optimal agility, speed, muscular endurance, accuracy, hand-eye coordination, footwork and overall strength to defend against and overcome opponents.

At Rock Steady Boxing, Parkinson’s disease is the opponent. Exercises vary in purpose and form but share one common trait: they are rigorous and intended to extend the perceived capabilities of the participant.

LifeWorks offers two ongoing classes:
Level 1 & 2 Fighters
Mondays & Wednesdays, 1-2pm
Level 3 & 4 Fighters:
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 12:30-1:30pm

Class Fee: $58/month/Fighter*
Includes unlimited classes and full access to LifeWorks outside of classes.  *This fee is taxable. (LW members free)

All Fighters are required to go through an assessment with our boxing coach, Jamie Anderson.  The assessment will determined which class the fighter will be assigned.  Assessments take about 30 minutes.  All assessments, paperwork and clearance are required prior to participation. If interested, please contact Jamie at 440-816-4223 or Email.
