Rock Steady Boxing Program for Parkinsons

LifeWorks is now a Rock Steady Boxing facility to provide those with Parkinson's this amazing program. This program is for most levels of progression in the disease. From the newly diagnosed to the advanced in wheelchair. Exercises and movement are specific and tailored for each fighter.

Ballroom Dancing

Fridays, 7:00 – 8:00 pm
Experience ballroom dancing with Viva Dance. You'll learn various styles of dance. If you do not have a partner, you will be paired up with some one in class or the instructor. Please know that this person could be of the same sex.
6-Week Session, begins week of March 4

Weight Loss with Hypnosis

Our clinical hypnotherapist, Don Mannarino, MA, will guide participants in putting an end to compulsive, impulsive and emotional overeating.  With Don’s skillful guidance and the power of positive suggestion, participants will regain self-control and self-discipline, begin choosing foods that are healthful rather than harmful, and end the emotional and psychological craving for sugars, sweets and salty foods. CD available at session for $10 cash only.

Balanced Habits Nutrition ProgramStacy and Jamie

LIfeWorks offers a 28-day program that is personalized nutritional program using real food for real lifestyles. This program provides nutritional support, exercise recommendations, and the accountability to keep you on track. Fitness is Power®, an exercise program for breast cancer survivors

Fitness is Power® is a funded program to provide breast cancer survivors with a 6-month fitness plan including one on one fitness coaching, support and even an oncology massage. Candidates for this program must have received services at Southwest General. Donations are accepted any time.

RX for Health - Physician Referred Exercise Program

This 60 day exercise program is designed to help manage chronic diseases such as obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes & cholesterol. Participants will receive one-on-one appointments with a fitness coach, an individualized exercise program and nutritional guidance. All participants have full access to the LifeWorks facility and to over 100 complimentary group exercise classes.

Pre-Op Hip Knee Program

This exercise program is physician-referred for patients scheduled to have hip or knee replacement surgery. The program offers 4 or 8 week session options.

Healthy Back to the Mat

Back to the Mat is a one hour pilates based mat class designed to strengthen the back, abs and core muscles of the torso. Having a stronger back can decrease back pain, improve flexibility and balance. A strong back will improve your everyday life. You will have more flexibility and range of motion to do the things you need to do, and love to do, pain-free.
